Qi Abdominal Release: What is it and what are the benefits?
Thank you for your interest in Qi Abdominal Release
I now offer QAR exclusively as part of a package with Metta Healing. This decision comes from my experience that issues in the abdominal area often stem from unresolved emotions stored in the subconscious.
A standalone massage may provide temporary relief, but without addressing the subconscious root, the issues are likely to return. The discomfort in your abdomen often reflects deeper, unresolved experiences in your life.
With Metta Healing, we can identify and address these subconscious roots, allowing QAR to effectively remove the physical manifestations.
If you’re seeking only a QAR massage, I recommend finding a specialist who offers it as a standalone service.
Thank you for your understanding.
Qi Abdominal Release (QAR) is an ancient healing system rooted in Taoist traditions. This unique therapy blends Chinese and Thai massage techniques with meditation, setting it apart from other healing modalities.
QAR focuses on the energy of the internal organs through a detoxifying and energizing abdominal massage. This practice gently yet deeply stimulates the internal organs on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels, helping them function more efficiently and heal unprocessed emotions.
QAR enhances the body's essential systems—cardiovascular, nervous, digestive, respiratory, and lymphatic—by correcting energy flow, releasing blockages, and moving energy throughout the body.

What is Taoism?
Taoism (pronounced Dow-ism) is an ancient Chinese philosophy and religion, rooted in the teachings of the 6th-century philosopher Lao-tzu. Taoists believe true wisdom and happiness come from living in harmony with the universe, cultivating an empty mind, and embracing stillness.
Central to Taoism is the idea of harmony between humans and nature, emphasizing respect and protection of the environment. The yin-yang symbol embodies this philosophy, representing life’s opposing forces—light and dark, hot and cold, masculine and feminine, sun and moon. The small circles within the symbol show that each half contains parts of the other, illustrating their inseparable and interconnected nature. In Taoism, opposites coexist, with neither being superior to the other.
